A consulting firm is supporting the European Society of Cardiology in recruiting a Corporate Relations Director. The ESC's mission is to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease. It’s a world leader in the discovery and dissemination of best practices in cardiovascular medicine. It’s a volunteer‑led, not‑for‑profit medical society. Members and decision‑makers are scientists, clinicians, nurses and allied professionals working in all fields of cardiology.
The current Corporate Relations Director is moving to another management position within ESC, which is why it is recruiting a replacement. The position, which is part of the Executive Committee, is a permanent contract based near Nice (Sophia Antipolis - Biot), with a remote work agreement.
Lead a high‑performing team responsible for managing contracts and cultivating partnerships within the healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device organizations. Secure funding across critical areas such as congresses, events, education, registries & data, and advocacy & policy, etc. Provide vision and direction for business development, drive team performance, and foster relationships with current and prospective partners to support ESC’s mission.
We are looking for a candidate with a higher education background, specialised in business, healthcare, or event management.
You have more than 7 years of experience in business‑oriented roles such as Sales Manager / Sales Director, strategic partnership development, or in positions involving responsibilities similar to those expected for this role in a healthcare organization.
You have strong leadership and team management skills, and you are recognised for your communication abilities and your capacity to build strong professional relationships.
