Base pay range: $70,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr

About The Role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy collaborate across teams, working in two-week sprints, sharing, reflecting, and iterating on their work.

Our platform uses Python with FastAPI, React, and Typescript. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence complex projects, coordinating with colleagues outside your immediate team.
• Communicate effectively with team members about problems and solutions.
• Work with product managers to scope projects for early and frequent value delivery.
• Take ownership of support tasks to ensure operational stability and resolve incidents proactively.
• Help define and implement monitoring and alerting systems.
• Set and improve engineering standards across all aspects.
• Mentor junior team members for growth and learning.
• Act as a role model reflecting company values.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python, preferably with FastAPI. Experience with Starlette, asyncio, SQLAlchemy, pytest is beneficial.
• Experience writing high-value tests and understanding software design principles.
