Job summary
A leading technology solutions company is looking for a Big Data Developer in Málaga, Spain. You will be involved in business application development, project planning, and optimizing code in an Agile environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and be fluent in both Spanish and English. The hybrid position offers a balance of remote and onsite work with a competitive hourly rate.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience as Big Data Developer.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.

- Business application development across the full software lifecycle.
- Communication with users to understand technological needs.
- Code optimization and analysis.
- Planning and execution of projects using Agile methodology.
- Support for incidents including planned interventions.
- Managing the tools to promote the releases.

Type of contract : Freelance, full time.
Location : Málaga (Spain).
Work Setting : Hybrid. 2-3 days per week onsite.
Hourly rate : 25 € / hour
As a Big Data Developer, you will participate in the Regulatory and Compliance technology team.
- Business application development (full software lifecycle : problem analysis, technical solution, solution design, development, testing and production upload).
- Communication with users to understand technological needs and provide strategic solutions.
- Code optimization and analysis : Threat modelling, exhaustive SAST, Sonar…
- Planning and execution of projects using Agile methodology
- Managing the different internal tools to document ALM in all phases of the projects.
- Support for incidents, including planned interventions.
- Execution of unit, integrated and regression tests
- Managing the tools to promote the releases.
- 2 years experience as Big Data Developer
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Telecommunications, Mathematics or related studies
- Java / Javascript

- Knowledge of different databases (Oracle - PLSQL, Postgre...)
- Microservices (Spring Boot) – Openshift
