We are looking for an Operations Manager to support the current Ops team in our growing Distribution Centre in Lelystad. This is your chance to be part of an international team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the dispatch operation 24/7 on three rotations, making sure goods are delivered on time every day.

What you do on a typical day

• Responsible for the entire Operations Process in your rotation - Lead and drive the operation from the front, ensuring compliance, performance, and the delivery of a world-class service to our customer.
• Set, agree, and manage objectives and KPIs with direct reports to achieve a ‘best in class operation.
• Measure and review operational performance against company and customer KPIs and implement appropriate actions for continuous improvement.
• Drive communication, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse with a focus on reviewing and improving processes.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate Lelystad Platform operations during shifts/areas.
• Plan the weekly workload, establishing priorities to achieve set goals.
• Provide training and assessments to teams, conduct performance evaluations.
• Guarantee necessary resources for Warehouse Managers.
• Coordinate Warehouse Manager teams.

What you need to succeed at GXO :

• Bachelor’s degree / HBO in related fields.
• Min 3 years of experience in Logistics / warehouse knowledge (Operations Manager) in automated logistics / distribution centres / warehouse / stockrooms.
• Good PC skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets and data.
• Knowledge of English at a professional level.
• Knowledge of Spanish and Dutch is an advantage.
