Overview

SAVANA is an award-winning, international medical company aiming to accelerate health science by enabling healthcare providers to unlock clinical value from Electronic Health Records (EHRs) with Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, while ensuring privacy and security.

Founded in 2014, Savana applies AI to free-text within EHRs to generate descriptive and predictive real-world evidence (RWE) studies. The company operates with a privacy-by-design approach and has a global research network across hospitals and languages.

Savana operates in more than 160 hospitals, 5 languages, and 15 countries, and supports clinical practices with a multidisciplinary team across 16 nationalities to advance personalized and precision medicine worldwide.

Role

Client Partner - Healthcare Software & Data Solutions (German / French-speaking) at Savana

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations, including hospitals, research institutions, and public health entities.
  • Address and resolve bottlenecks with hospitals, healthcare providers, health insurance companies and regional/national health systems to ensure data needs for RWE studies are met.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation and qualification.
  • Oversee and optimize the entire sales cycle (lead generation, qualification, contract negotiation and closing) to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  • Coordinate workflows (considering legal, data privacy, and data transfer aspects) with clinical data providers and internal teams to obtain required data sources on time.
  • Collaboration with External Stakeholders: Work with industry stakeholders, including healthcare regulators and professional associations, to promote Savana’s solutions and influence industry standards.
  • Represent Savana at healthcare and industry conferences, workshops, and other events to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
  • Security & Compliance: Operate according to Security Policies, Procedures and Manuals; report any incidents or improvement proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • More than 10 years’ experience in SaaS sales in the healthcare environment, including with health insurance companies.
  • Strong understanding of technology, big data, and AI applications in health.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Fluency in German or French is also required.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong leadership capability.
  • Experience managing international sales and business development teams.
  • Interest in shaping the future of health, focusing on unmet medical needs.
  • Ability to communicate with medical departments in the pharma industry.
  • Willing to work from home and travel.
  • Ability to work well within a team or independently.
  • Ability to adapt strategy to changing and volatile environments, with patience, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.
