Cooltra, European leader in sustainable mobility, is looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and manage the Finance team, working from our headquarter in Barcelona.

As a key member of our organization and reporting to the CEO, the CFO will play a critical role in driving the company’s financial health, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support overall business objectives and growth.
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
• Proven track record in managing finance and accounting team.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to the CEO and board of directors.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital planning to ensure the company maintains a strong financial position.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with department leaders to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide insights on variances and performance metrics.
• Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investment opportunities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role as CFO.
• Deep knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results.
• Fluency in English (level C1) , French / Italian / Portuguese / Dutch / German are a plus.
• High integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
