What we look for?

We are looking for a SAP Consultant with experience in Finance and Controlling who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers.

100% remote collaboration within Spain, with preference given to professionals living in Madrid.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Lead and execute SAP Implementation, Development, AMS Support, and Enhancement activities for the FI-CO module.
• Support FI/CO AMS operations and ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and change requests. Prepare proposals and solution approaches to reengineer and optimize Controlling (CO) processes.
• Analyze client requirements, design end-to-end solutions, prepare functional specifications, and configure the system accordingly.
• Prepare and deliver Blueprint/Workshop presentations to clients.
• Develop detailed business process flows in Microsoft Visio for proposed business processes.
• Create Process Definition Documents (PDD), Design Documents, and Business Process Procedures (BPP).
• Configure core SAP FI-CO functionalities, ensuring alignment with client standards and expectations.
• Manage integration of FI-CO with other SAP modules and external applications.
• Actively participate in all phases of SAP implementation: Unit Testing, Cycle Testing, Integration Testing User manual creation and user support Following ASAP/structured methodologies.
• Regular interaction with onsite/client teams Providing status updates in daily/weekly calls Maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders.

What do we expect from you?

• Have 3–6 years of functional finance domain experience and 4–7 years of SAP FI-CO implementation experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in S/4HANA implementations.
• Proven experience in FI/CO AMS support and CO process optimization.
• Hands‑on configuration expertise in:
• SAP FI: General Ledger, New GL, AR/AP, Asset Accounting
• SAP CO: Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing
• COPA: Profitability analysis
• SAP BPC: Basic knowledge/exposure
• Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian tax requirements in SAP FI/CO.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with business processes in: SAP SD SAP MM SAP PS SAP HR
• High Level of English: B2/C1
• Location in Spain.

Desired Skills

• Certification or experience in SAP Simple Finance. SAP FI-CO certification.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
• Experience integrating FI-CO with SD, MM, PS, HR modules.
• Awareness of SAP NetWeaver components.
• Prior team leadership experience. Exposure to ALE/IDOC or EDI/IDOC interfaces with basic technical understanding.
