Job Description

At SGS, we are embarking on a major global ERP transformation program, replacing multiple legacy systems with a unified Oracle-based platform across our worldwide operations. This long-term initiative spans numerous countries and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a truly global project with significant career growth potential.

As a Business Analyst, you will join the Record-to-Report (R2R) team, which plays a central role in this transformation. The team manages key Oracle financial modules, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. It also partners closely with Group Control and supports the implementation and optimization of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution.

A key part of your role will be to collaborate with business users and implementation partners to ensure solutions align with SGS's global template and meet standardized requirements across regions. This is a highly project-driven environment, requiring adaptability, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of both finance processes and Oracle systems.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with business and functional stakeholders to identify and understand needs.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Analyze requirements, assess impacts, and document business needs.
  • Support prioritization of requirements in alignment with project goals.
  • Deliver or review functional design documentation as needed.
  • Define and oversee user acceptance testing.
  • Support deployment and rollout activities.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners and Workstream Team Leads.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion (GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, subledger accounting).
  • Involved in at least three ERP implementations.
  • Familiar with business analysis techniques (e.g., process modeling, requirements gathering, user stories).
  • Excellent English communication skills; other languages are a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across time zones and teams.
  • Degree in Business or Finance is preferred.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Oracle EPM and Hyperion.
  • Understanding of bank integrations, reconciliation, and third-party tools (e.g., Apro, Treasury Management Systems).
  • Finance background, ideally with experience as an accountant or system end-user.
