To strengthen our Automation Technology Center (ATC) and the associated Proof of Concept (PoC) in Filderstadt, we are looking for an

• Consulting and supporting technically demanding and innovative applications for national and international customers across various industries (e.g. Pharma, Automotive, Food & Commodity, Digital)
• Technical expertise and application support for vision systems and measurement sensors
• Integration of vision solutions in holistic concepts
• Preparation and execution of customer presentations, both in the ATC and customer site
• Conducting customer-specific workshops, briefings, and trainings to communicate and demonstrate solutions
• Carrying out feasibility studies using Omron vision systems and sensors
• Active contribution to strategic and cross-functional projects
• Acting as subject matter expert: Providing high-level support to Field Application Engineers (FAEs) / Supporting the deployment of new technologies

Your profile:

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 5 years of practical experience in automation, with a focus on: Machine vision and measurement sensors / Vision systems, including AI-based solutions / PLC programming / Programming in C++
• Experience in commissioning and / or service in the field
• Experienced with tools and platforms such as Omron FH, Keyence, Cognex In-Sight, Halcon, OpenVINO is desirable
• Knowledge of 3D vision is desirable
• Confident in using modern presentation tools and comfortable delivering presentations and workshops – also in English
• Self-motivated, ambitious, proactive and focused, with the incentive to achieve challenging and demanding goals
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%)
