Your responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the entire lifecycle of cloud-based digital products, supporting business applications of varying criticality to ensure smooth, compliant, reliable, and secure operations.

As part of our DevOps team, you will leverage your technical and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Deliver integrated, reliable, and cost-effective IT services aligned with customer and business expectations
• Manage lifecycle processes with Uniper’s IT suppliers to ensure application and infrastructure stability
• Engage with business units to understand requirements and foster stakeholder relationships
• Assess the impact of changes from technical and business perspectives
• Develop and maintain automation platforms, including monitoring and alerting systems
• Coordinate solution delivery within agile sprints across the full lifecycle
• Collaborate on digitalization and automation initiatives
• Ensure quality assurance, including test preparation, execution, UAT support, and operational enablement

Your profile

• IT Consultant with strong technical and functional skills, with relevant experience
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure (IaaS/PaaS), CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with containerization, especially Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Scripting skills in Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and/or BASH for automation

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in German and English, both verbal and written, for meetings and workshops
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and geographically dispersed teams
