A leading multinational in chemical safety is looking for an experienced HSE Manager in Munich, Germany. The successful candidate will further develop HSE strategies, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead audits. A degree in a relevant field, several years of experience in HSE management, and fluency in English and German are required. The role involves approximately 30-40% international travel.
Further development and implementation of the global HSE strategy taking into account sector-specific requirements of the chemical industry.
Ensure compliance with international, local and internal HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Freudenberg and Klüber standards).
Continuous improvement and maintenance of the group-wide HSE management system.
Conducting audits, risk assessments, and safety analyses at international sites.
Supporting and training local HSE teams and promoting a global safety culture.
Analyzing HSE key figures, deriving measures, and reporting to top management.
Internal communication and contact person for external HSE audits.
Degree in chemistry, process engineering, safety engineering, or similar.
Several years of professional experience in HSE management in the chemical or process-based industry.
Sound knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards (e.g., chemical law, hazardous substances regulations, environmental law).
Experience in handling hazardous materials and implementing safety concepts in production environments.
Strong intercultural competence and experience in working with international teams.
Business fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–40%).
