Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). Your mission during this flight:

• Provide strategic & operational leadership while managing the finance staff.
• Be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and driving operational efficiency.
• Lead month, quarter and year-end closing activities.
• Be responsible for analyzing balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Be responsible for all accounting & controlling topics.
• Develop and optimize accounting & controlling processes.
• Be responsible for all forecasting & budgeting activities.
• Support the Director of Finance with Financial Model and other financing activites.

Check in your professional skills:

• Bilanzbuchhalter or international Bilanzbuchhalter
• Bachelor of Science in accounting, controlling or finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or public accounting
• Experience with cost accounting and financial reporting in a production environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and SOX internal controls
• Fluent in German and English,Mandarin is a plus
• Proficient understanding of HGB and IFRS
• Proficiency in BC is important
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools
• SOX experience is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
