A global leader in automotive safety in Bavaria is seeking a Supply Chain Process Manager to drive end-to-end design and continuous improvement of purchasing processes. This role ensures standardization and compliance while collaborating with various divisions. Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, fluent English, and over 5 years of experience in key SCM roles within the automotive industry. In this role you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end design and continuous improvement of purchasing processes across all divisions, functions and product lines. This role ensures standardization, compliance, and alignment with purchasing strategic objectives, acting as key role to secure process excellence within Purchasing (segment strategy & component lifecycle)
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Define, optimize, and document global SCM Purchasing processes and standardsconnected to Segment Strategy and Component lifecycle (e.g. sourcing, segment strategy, TFC, component tracking, CLD, supplier communication, carry‑over management, supplier performance.,) ensuring alignment with the SCM strategy and digitalization roadmap.
Standardize processes across Divisions to enable harmonized execution and scalable digital solutions.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives to support achievement of SCM strategic targets.
Collaborate with the SCM Digitalization Manager and all relevant SCM and IT stakeholders to ensure strong E2E process and technology alignment.
Lead process communication and change management activities, including training, stakeholder alignment, and adoption follow‑up.
Develop and support global training materials to strengthen functional skills across regions.
Act as a process ambassador, driving awareness, adherence to standards, and best‑practice sharing across Divisions.
Monitor, analyze, and report process performance, using KPIs to steer continuous improvement.
Represent Purchasing value streams in the SCM Process & Digitalization committees
Represent Purchasing in enterprise‑level process and digitalization initiatives, including steering committees and cross‑functional transformation programs.
And if you have/are:
University degree, preferably in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management
Proven track record in leading global projects and working with cross‑divisional, cross‑functional teams
Fluent English (spoken and written). Additional languages are an asset
More than 5 years of experience in key SCM roles in automotive industry (Segment/Commodity or Project Purchasing preferrable)
