Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Baden-Württemberg is seeking a Junior Program Manager to independently supervise projects and ensure timely completion of milestones. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical, automotive, or logistics engineering and some experience in the automotive industry. Strong German and good English skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in a relevant field.
- Some experience in the automotive industry required.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Independently supervise assigned projects to meet milestones.
- Monitor processes across departments and support the project team.
- Create presentations and timelines based on milestones.
- Act as an interface between the customer and internal departments.
- Lead cross-functional project teams for technical changes.
- Coordinate prototype creation for customer and test requirements.
Skills
Education
You will independently supervise assigned projects and ensure that project milestones and targets are met
You will monitor the processes across departments and support the project team in their execution
You create presentations and timelines based on the assigned milestones
You act as an interface between the OEM customer and Lear's internal departments
You cooperate closely with the specialist areas of development, industrial engineering, purchasing, quality, production, logistics and sales
You will lead cross-functional project teams to implement technical changes over the project duration
You coordinate and are responsible for prototype creation for customer and test requirements
You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or Logistics
You already have some experience in the automotive industry
Ideally, you have some experience in project management
You speak fluent German and good English
