For one of our clients, we are recruiting an Accountant to join a multicultural and international environment in Luxembourg.
Role & Responsibilities
Daily accounting of Luxembourg SPVs, including monthly and quarterly closings when required
Assisting with the preparation of Luxembourg statutory accounts
Supporting annual closing and regulatory reporting to the authorities
Assisting with VAT returns and annual tax declarations for Luxembourg SPVs
Cash, bank and intercompany reconciliations
Monitoring SPV bank accounts and Borrower Debt Service Accounts
Invoice monitoring and management
Preparation of payments and intercompany recharges
Assisting with the preparation of monthly interest statements for borrowers
Ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks
Profile Required
Degree in Accounting or a related field
2–3 years of experience in Luxembourg within an administration company or in-house environment
Experience with SPVs and Holding structures
Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP
Debt investment exposure is a plus
Real Estate accounting experience is an advantage
Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
Comfortable with accounting software (eFront is a plus) and strong Excel skills
Ability to integrate easily into a team, autonomous and reliable
