Location: Bochum, Germany. Frequent travel to customer sites (throughout Germany in 2026 and globally from 2027 onwards)

Our client is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join their team in Bochum. This is a unique opportunity to become a key figure in the international rollout of high-precision tools, with long-term career prospects across Europe, Asia, and the US.
- Conduct root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting of complex process issues
- Support machine installations and commissioning, both locally and abroad
- Interface directly with customers to communicate findings and ensure resolution
- Collaborate with senior engineers in Bochum for technical support and escalation
- Accompany tools internationally for extended periods to ensure successful deployment
- Degree or formal training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; German is highly beneficial
