Field Service Engineer

Location: Bochum, Germany. Frequent travel to customer sites (throughout Germany in 2026 and globally from 2027 onwards)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and growth potential

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting of complex process issues
• Support machine installations and commissioning, both locally and abroad
• Interface directly with customers to communicate findings and ensure resolution
• Collaborate with senior engineers in Bochum for technical support and escalation
• Accompany tools internationally for extended periods to ensure successful deployment

Qualifications

• Degree or formal training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• 3+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; German is highly beneficial
