Labourer, Logging and Forestry

RENOUVELLEMENT FORESTIER

Labourer positions in logging and forestry, with tasks including planting tree seedlings and operating chain saws for trail clearing. The work is performed outdoors in a wet/damp, noisy, hot environment at remote locations. Full-time seasonal employment is offered with bi‑weekly pay.

• Plant tree seedlings.
• Operate chain saws to clear trails through woodlands.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience 1 to less than 7 months.
• Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Ability to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• Own safety equipment: steel‑toed safety boots, gloves, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles.

• Bi‑weekly pay: $1,449 to $1,932 (to be negotiated).
