PURPOSE OF POSITIONAs part of the Destination Management Division, the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains (VCM) team plays a strategic role in driving and influencing partner engagement in Destination BC’s programs and services. The key responsibilities for this position include coordinating the VCM contracts and programs.
Under the direction of the General Manager, Vancouver, Coast & Mountains, the Coordinator, Vancouver, Coast & Mountains position coordinates the delivery of Destination BC programs and services within the VCM tourism region to ensure optimal program delivery and partner engagement. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, relationship building, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as collaboration with Destination BC’s departments, government, external partner organizations, contractors, tourism organizations and businesses.
