A leading educational institution in the Niagara Region is seeking a part-time Research Operations Assistant to support the Research and Innovation Division. This temporary position is set to start in January 2026, offering a starting salary of $24.32 per hour for up to 24 hours a week. Key responsibilities include managing data entry, assisting in financial management, and ensuring compliance with research data management practices. Candidates are expected to have a minimum 2-year diploma and related experience in research administration.

Applications are invited for the temporary position of part‑time Research Operations Assistant in the Research and Innovation Division. The starting salary is $24.32 /hour for up to 24 hours per week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. The position is located at the Welland Campus. This is a temporary replacement position and is set to commence in January 2026 and conclude in August 2026. It may be subject to an extension by mutual agreement of the parties.
Reporting to the Manager, Finance Operations and Compliance, the successful candidate provides support to the Research & Innovation (R&I) division and its Innovation Centres. The Research Operations Assistant will provide clerical, administrative and compliance support to the R&I division. Duties include financial data input related to R&I grants, travel and Visa processing, as well as assisting with accounts payables and receivables. This position will assist to facilitate activities in the R&I division related to the development and oversight of essential practices and processes related to research security and research data management. Key duties include creating resource materials, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with implementation plans.
