A government agency in Alberta seeks a maintenance worker to ensure cleanliness and upkeep across various locations. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and a WHMIS Certificate. The role involves tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, and ensuring safety protocols while working under pressure and handling heavy loads. Applicants must demonstrate dependability and excellent communication skills. This position requires physical activity and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Criminal record check is mandatory.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Must possess WHMIS Certificate.
Responsabilités
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps and debris.
- Perform safety and security checks and minor repairs to systems.
- Show apartments to prospective tenants and perform routine maintenance.
