Qualifications

  • Must attain MECP Operator in Training Certification within 3 months.
  • Water and Wastewater Treatment and Distribution Level 1 Certification is required.
  • Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of skilled duties in support of automated Water and Wastewater systems.
  • Installation, maintenance, modification of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Read design drawings and schematics for electrical and electronic equipment.

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs

Education

Two-year Electrical Technician Diploma
Journeyman’s License as Construction and Maintenance Electrician
