Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an autobody shop.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle prep and painting processes.
  • Valid driver's license and eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including masking and sanding.
  • Perform buffing, wet sanding, and polishing of painted vehicles.
  • Support the paint department during peak workloads or absences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
  • Participate in health and safety programs.

Skills

Autobody shop experience
Knowledge of prep and paint processes
Physical strength and ability to use hand tools

Education

Journeyperson or Red Seal certification
Apprenticeship (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year considered)
