A public school board in Ontario is seeking an experienced educator for a Semester 2 LTO position in English as a Second Language. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effective instruction, training, and evaluation of students, maintaining classroom management, and preparing necessary teaching plans. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices and must provide professional references. A Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to employment. Salary ranges from $59,128 to $119,974 based on full-time equivalency.
Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in Ontario education system.
- Experience or knowledge in teaching English as a Second Language is desirable.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Responsabilités
- Provide effective instruction and evaluation for students in English as a Second Language.
- Maintain classroom management and ensure readiness prior to class.
- Prepare and submit teaching plans as required.
