Job summary

A local educational institution in North Vancouver is seeking an experienced Grade 11 and 12 Chemistry Teacher & Science Lab Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will teach Chemistry according to Waldorf and BC Ministry of Education curriculums, manage the science lab, and participate actively in the school community. Preferred qualifications include experience with Waldorf education and a valid BC Teaching Certificate. This is a part-time, fixed-term role from January to June 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with Waldorf Education is preferred.
• Must have a valid BC Teaching Certificate.
• Interest in pursuing Waldorf Teacher Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach Grade 11 and 12 Chemistry as per Waldorf and BC curriculums.
• Manage the science lab, including chemical handling and disposal.
• Support and evaluate students' progress through meetings and reports.
