Job summary
A global agricultural company in Yorkton, SK is seeking a Facility Operations Worker for a temporary full-time position. The role involves performing facility operations such as receiving and shipping products, ensuring safety policies are adhered to, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to meet physical demands, including lifting and working in various weather conditions. Competitive compensation of $22.00 - $28.00 CAD per hour is offered.
Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Shift(s) Available: Day
Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 /hr CAD
Principal Accountabilities:
- Performing facility operations such as receiving and shipping products, which may include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain
- Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
- Providing excellent customer service and engaging with team members
- Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Must be able to work in various weather, industrial and agricultural settings
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- May require a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice
- Basic mechanical aptitude
