Join our Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) charter, where from Day 1 you’ll tackle complex data and metric challenges, crafting datasets, reports, and dashboards to power critical business decisions.
As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, you’ll work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment to transform large (multTb) data sets into actionable insights. You’ll own end-to-end solutions—from metadata modeling and pipeline monitoring to query performance tuning—ensuring Amazon stakeholders worldwide have reliable, data-driven recommendations.
In this role, you’ll be highly data-driven, resourceful, and customer-obsessed. You will translate analytic insights into concrete recommendations, develop dashboards that track business health, and design scalable data solutions in collaboration with product, engineering, and data science teams.
Your responsibilities include creating and managing extremely large data sets, implementing new analytic technologies, and clearly communicating strategic findings to senior leaders. You will leverage AWS technologies, advanced SQL, Python scripting, and statistical analysis to uncover trends, predict risks, and optimize future state operations.
Competitive Compensation: The base salary ranges from $97,400/year to $162,600/year, reflecting your expertise in business intelligence, data analytics, and AWS technologies.

Pay Range: $97,400 – $162,600 (based on experience, skills, and knowledge)
We’re looking for someone with 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years of SQL and large data set transformation expertise. You must be skilled in data modeling, design of experiments, statistical analysis, and familiar with AWS technologies, Python scripting, and advanced SQL tuning.
Strong business communication skills are essential: you’ll partner with product owners to translate key business questions into dashboards and reports, and present insights to senior leadership. Prior experience in machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval is a plus.
