Job summary
A regional health authority in Port Hardy is seeking a Substance Use Clinician to provide culturally safe individual and group psychotherapeutic services to adults facing mental health and substance use issues. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work and be registered with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. This role involves assessing community resources and working within an interdisciplinary team to improve quality and safety in care.
Qualifications
- Two years recent experience in mental health/substance use settings.
- Proven assessment, care planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and show creativity.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical response and psychotherapeutic services to adults.
- Participate in planning and assessment of community resources.
- Liaise with community services and provide consultation.
