• You are a Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of proven experience.

What you'll be doing

You will be a key member of our Platform and infrastructure team, contributing to all stages of backend development: feature design, coding, QA, and delivery. We prioritize well-architected, clean, testable, and scalable code.

• Develop and maintain robust microservices using Node.js, NestJS, and Express.
• Design and optimize data models and queries for MongoDB.
• Collaborate on new ideas, rapid prototyping, and continuous engineering improvement through code reviews and design feedback.
• Make informed decisions regarding technical debt, third-party tools, and trade-offs.
• Work with our many microservices built with Node.js, express, andNestJSand packaged with Docker and deployed to AWS

What you should have

• Extensive experience in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong software design, development, and testing skills.
• Fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with building and deploying microservices.

Bonus Points

• Experience with MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with Docker
• Experience deploying to AWS
