A leading health provider in BC is seeking a Priority Populations Outreach Worker in Vancouver. In this role, you will provide outreach and support to vulnerable communities impacted by various health crises, promoting harm reduction and access to services. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Community Social Services and experience in healthcare settings. - 1 year of experience in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment with substance use issues.
- Valid BC Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Provide outreach services to vulnerable clients affected by public health issues.
- Support clients in accessing pharmaceutical alternatives to harmful substances.
- Liaise with community resources and healthcare providers to promote health education.
