Job summary
A recruiting firm is seeking a Bilingual Engineering Technician (CAD Technician) in Quebec. In this role, you will prepare technical drawings, support sales and engineering efforts, and provide customer service. Candidates must have an associate degree in Civil Engineering or a technical degree in drafting, along with proficiency in CAD software. Strong communication skills in both English and French are required.
Qualifications
- Fluency in French and English for interpreting designs and communication.
- Proficient in 2D design and understanding of civil site plans.
- Experience in stormwater, drainage, and underground infrastructure design.
Responsibilities
- Prepare system drawings and details.
- Track engineering service requests and assist with reviews.
- Integrate products into system designs.
- Create fitting details and material estimates for sales.
- Communicate with teams and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Support CAD production under direction.
