Job summary
A leading technology firm in Alberta is seeking a candidate for electrical testing in a dynamic team environment. You will perform VTS electrical testing and ensure all testing parameters are within limits. A diploma in engineering is required, along with a self-motivated attitude and willingness to work 12-hour night shifts. Relevant manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Perform VTS electrical testing of the media.
- Ensure testers and control parameters are within limits.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve problems.
- Ensure timeliness of test results.
Skills
Education
The RPE Lab performs electrical testing of the media. This testing is critical for sputter machine control, qualification of sputter machine performance after a PM or conversion, and new product magnetic design verification and implementation.
- Perform VTS electrical testing of the media.
- Ensure the testers and all control parameters are within acceptable limits.
- Data crunching and analysis of test results.
- Troubleshooting of test related problems and recovery of tester issues.
- Collaborate and communicate with engineers and team members to resolve issues.
- Ensure timeliness of the test results.
- Possess a Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
- Self-motivated and results oriented mentality.
- Works well in a dynamic team environment.
- Willing to work in clean room environment.
- Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern.
Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
