Job Description

P&G Canada is seeking a highly-motivated individual for a Field Service Technician position with our P&G Professional Organization to start immediately. This is a non-management (no direct reports), full-time permanent field role with no prior experience required (you will be trained). The successful candidate will cover Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer. The ideal candidate must be located within a 10 km radius of Rocky Mountain House, Red Deer, or Stettler, or be willing to self-relocate to the geographic area.

P&G Professional is the commercial division of Procter & Gamble focused on improving the lives of our consumers away from home. We provide the hospitality, foodservice, and long-term care industries chemical programs and solutions (including dispensing / dilution equipment, commercial dishwashing machines, etc) that keep their facilities clean and safe.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in training (prior experience not required) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our chemical dispensing equipment as well as other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations.
  • Develop your territory by jointly selling alongside our distributor representatives.
  • Deliver exceptional service for customer retention and superior customer service.
Role Structure
  • Field-based position that is 80% service and 20% selling.
  • Work Schedule may include 12-hour shifts, 5-day work week, occasional weekends, and night shifts
  • Alternating On-Call Coverage, which may include occasional weekends, holidays and night calls
  • May be required to work over-time
Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (College Diploma or Higher Education is an asset)
  • Located in or willing to Self-Relocate within 10 km of Rocky Mountain House, Red Deer, or Stettler. Relocation support is not available for the role.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Having a suitable vehicle and the right to operate it legally. P&G has policies in place to support required business travel.
