Job Title : Construction Technician

Join our team as a Construction Technician, where you will be responsible for cleaning, refurbishing, and fixing up modular units upon their return. The units are relatively new, requiring minimal work, and you will perform a variety of tasks as needed. You will also lead a team of 4-5 workers.

• Clean, refurbish, and repair modular units.
• Perform various tasks as required to maintain and improve units.
• Lead and manage a team of 4-5 workers effectively.
• Utilize hand and power tools, including basic tools like hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
• Perform minor construction tasks such as putting up walls and fixing wheels.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience in construction or renovation environments.
• Basic carpentry and renovation skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a small team.

• Construction certifications or experience is advantageous.

Work primarily in a comfortable, air-conditioned construction bay with occasional outdoor tasks as needed. Join a small, dedicated team with a day shift from 7 am to 4 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cookstown, Ontario.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Barrie,ON.
