A leading bank in the Americas is seeking a Senior Manager for Security Shared Services in Toronto. This role involves ensuring operational excellence in Application Security, Cloud Security, and Cryptography. Reporting to the Director of Shared Services for Application Security, Cloud Security and Cryptography, the Senior Manager, Security Shared Services is a cross‑functional role responsible for ensuring operational excellence within the Application Security, Cloud Security and Cryptography functions as well provide governance for key initiatives. The role blends delivery, governance and project management to ensure initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to provide governance for business operations’ processes and also govern the delivery of regulatory, compliance and audit related items in the team, including centralized reporting and tracking. The role combines operational governance and financial management with the team and requires development of a governance model and then monitoring progress and compliance with tasks or deadlines that have been previously decided. In addition, the candidate should possess strong project management skills to govern the delivery of business‑critical initiatives.
