This role offers flexible working conditions and competitive compensation ranging from $4,500 to $6,000 CAD per course.
We are looking for the visionaries, the change‑makers, the self‑starters who are seeking more from their career. Change begins with the small decisions we make, each day, to support each other and strive to create inspiring incredible educational experiences for all students, no matter where they are or how they learn. In choosing a career with Yorkville University, you will have the opportunity to push boundaries, flex your creativity and inspire positive change for so many people.

Reporting to the Director of New Program Development, we are seeking Course Developers to design and develop new courses in the broader fields of public policy and administration. As our new Course Developer you will create new, academically rigorous, and professionally grounded offerings that reflect the realities, structures, and evolving policies of the Canadian public sector. You will combine academic depth with applied expertise to create high‑quality, research‑informed, and industry‑relevant learning experiences.
This is a remote (within Canada) part‑time contract role.
Impact and innovation. This is an opportunity to contribute to a new, forward‑looking academic initiative that connects research, policy, and practice in the Canadian context. You will help lay the foundation for an online and asynchronous program that broadens access to education while maintaining academic excellence. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of leaders in Canadian public administration.
Collaboration and future opportunity. You will join an innovative, multidisciplinary team committed to advancing applied scholarship and designing relevant, accessible, and meaningful learning experiences. This engagement opens the door to future teaching and academic leadership opportunities at Yorkville University as the program evolves.
This is a remote, part‑time, contract‑based role, based in Canada. Course development typically spans four to six months, beginning early in the new year. These are independent courses within a broader field of study, offering opportunities for continued engagement in subsequent development or teaching roles.
$4,500–$6,000 CAD per course.
We welcome and appreciate candidates with a range of backgrounds and experiences. If you have 70% of the qualifications we are looking for, express your interest.
