We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Brossard, QC.

• Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software operating systems, including development and/or diagnostic software.
• Participate in the development of test strategies, devices and systems.
• Responsible for the whole development process from inception to completion of a project.
• Oversees and participates in design and code reviews.
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to more junior staff during performance reviews.
• Prepare and lead design proposals to reflect costs, time and alternate actions to satisfy existing and future needs.
• Prepare and lead development of technical feasibilities to finalize project schedules.
• Design, write code, complete programming and perform testing/debugging of PC software applications.
• Develop methods, metrics techniques and evaluation criteria for products, processes and staff.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:

• University Degree with 5 years related experience or a minimum of 8 years related experience with a High School diploma or relevant certificate in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).

• Windows and Networked System software development experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in WEB programming.
• Minimum of 2 years in-depth use of MS Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of C# and .NET programming.

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong coding skills in C++, C#.
• Knowledge of object oriented programming techniques and languages.
• Design specifications, test plans and structured design principles.
• In-depth understanding of software analysis and design techniques.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with both detail-oriented and broader assignments.
• In-depth understanding of wired and wireless communications protocols, networking protocols.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented professional.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or newer.
• Knowledge of C/C++.

• French and English.
