Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Claims Advisor, Accident Benefits, to join our Ontario team. Reporting to the Manager of Casualty Claims, you will handle complex, non-catastrophic first-party injury claims, ensuring thorough investigation, negotiation, and settlement.

Responsibilities include interpreting policy coverage, investigating and negotiating claims, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, documenting files thoroughly, and managing a caseload appropriate for a senior role. You will communicate professionally with claimants, vendors, medical professionals, and legal representatives, working collaboratively with the team.

Qualifications :

• Post-secondary education or equivalent
• 2-4 years of Ontario Accident Benefits experience (excluding MIG)
• CIP designation or pursuit preferred
• Insurance knowledge in injury claims, medical rehab, and terminology preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Critical thinking and customer service commitment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
