Base Salary Range: $150K to $175K

Bonus Structure: Dependent on experience and individual contribution

Vehicle Allowance: Bi-weekly allowance provided

Overview

This role is built for a seasoned specialty paper sales leader who thrives on long-term client relationships, strategic account growth, and uncovering new revenue opportunities. You will play a key role in driving profitability by managing key accounts, developing new business, and bringing market insight that strengthens the competitive position.

What You’ll Do
Account Management and Growth
  • Manage key accounts, including forecasting, pricing, agreements, profitability, and identifying grade growth opportunities
  • Split responsibilities between business development (70 percent) and account management (30 percent)
  • Identify new accounts using your understanding of capabilities and grade mix
  • Grow share within existing customers and close business with identified prospects
  • Develop decision-maker relationships and uncover pain points that lead to new wins
  • Identify opportunities in adjacent markets with expected close cycles of six to nine months
Market Insight and Collaboration
  • Gather and share market intelligence, including competitor vulnerabilities, pricing shifts, and new product movement
  • Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, technical service, and product development, and commercial operations
  • Drive new opportunities from start to finish, ensuring the right teams are engaged at every stage
Tools and Reporting
  • Document account activity and manage opportunities in Salesforce
  • Forecast monthly tonnage using existing S&OP systems
  • Prepare annual plans including volume, customer, and grade forecasts
  • Use Power BI to track invoicing, order flow, margin performance, forecast accuracy, and monthly commitments
Travel
  • Expect 50 percent travel or more to meet with customers and prospects
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of direct sales experience within the paper, Food and Beverage, or multi-wall industries
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation abilities
