Human Resources Generalist

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established leader in the fuel distribution industry, who’s looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team.

This position is based in Edmonton (Remote).

• Lead full cycle recruitment and onboarding for drivers, dispatchers, and office staff.
• Manage employee development programs focused on safety, compliance, and customer service.
• Coordinate performance reviews and help foster a strong, engaged workplace culture.
• Oversee HR administration, ensuring compliance with labour standards across AB, SK, MB, and BC.
• Handle payroll and benefits with accuracy, confidentiality, and care.
• Partner with leaders across departments to align HR initiatives with business goals.

• 5+ years of HR experience ideally in transportation, logistics, or fuel distribution.
• Strong working knowledge of provincial labour laws and HR best practices.
• Skilled in payroll and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive problem solver who can balance multiple priorities and support both field and office teams.

• Competitive compensation package and benefits. Base $55k – $70k
• Occasional travel to regional offices (mileage reimbursed).
