Job summary
A dynamic technology firm is seeking two experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure the quality implementation of enterprise platforms. This role is primarily remote but requires applicants to be Canadian citizens working during standard business hours in Canada. Candidates should have experience in functional, API, and non-functional testing, along with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior QA role on Agile projects.
- Experience in planning, writing test cases, and executing functional testing.
- Experience with API testing in CI/CD environments.
- Experience with database and data conversion testing.
- Experience supporting automation test scripts.
- Experience in non-functional testing including performance and security testing.
- Experience working on large-scale Agile projects.
Responsibilities

Our Client is seeking two [2] experienced and motivated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer) to ensure the implementation quality of large-scale enterprise platforms, products and services. If you’re passionate about delivering enterprise solutions that ensure government services are secure, cost-effective, and easy to access, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The QA Engineer will be working with modern, user-centered Agile processes within a high-performing team culture to make a meaningful impact. The QA Engineer provides expertise in ensuring that solutions meet required standards of quality, performance, and security by adhering to best practices and processes. The QA Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute comprehensive system tests, identify defects and areas for improvements.
While this work is primarily remote, must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work during standard business hours within Canada at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.(8 years with a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a Diploma)
- Experience in a senior QA role on the same Agile project for at least two years. (2+ years)
- Experience in planning, writing test cases, scripts, and executing functional testing manually. (8+ years)
- Experience with API testing and implementing testing with CI/CD pipelines in a large-scale enterprise environment. (5+ years)
- Experience with database testing including data conversion testing in a large-scale enterprise environment. (8+ years)
- Experience with establishing and supporting automation test scripts in a large-scale enterprise environment. (5+ years)
- Experience with non-functional testing including load testing, performance testing, usability testing, compatibility testing, security testing, and end-to-end testing. (8+ years)
- Experience working as a senior QA on large-scale enterprise Agile projects with 15 or more team members. (5+ years)
