Accountabilities
- Act as key contact and subject matter expert for Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSP) and Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) for sales teams and stakeholders.
- Proactively track and analyze products to ensure a strong value proposition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
- Support development and management of specialty products as a technical expert.
- Maintain and develop promotional materials to educate advisors and customers on product features.
- Support digital tools' management and development for RDSP and RESP.
- Own the advisor experience for RDSPs and RESPs, enhancing resources and tools.
- Track and interpret regulatory changes affecting specialty products.
- Support sales objectives through effective product presentations.
- Conduct training presentations on product features for internal and external audiences.
- Provide monitoring reports for assigned products to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through technical resources.
Requirements
- Completion of a University degree.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles in financial services.
- Experience with Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSPs) and/or Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs).
- Experience with segregated fund products considered an asset.
- Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting as a subject matter expert.
- Strong understanding of competitive landscape and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
- Highly analytical with the ability to conduct research and make data‑driven recommendations.
- Ability to translate analysis into effective sales ideas.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks efficiently.
- English language proficiency required for communication across Canada.
