A leading accounting firm in Burlington, Canada, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their supportive team. This role offers diverse experience from bookkeeping to high-level financial statement preparation. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in accounting, strong Excel skills, and practical experience with QuickBooks Online. You will work collaboratively, manage client queries, and contribute to special projects. This position is designed for those eager for hands-on experience and complex accounting tasks, with growth opportunities in a valued environment.
Competenze
- Strong command of MS Excel and practical experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Familiarity with CaseWare, Jazzit, or TaxPrep is a distinct advantage.
- Currently working towards a CPA designation is an asset.
Mansioni
- Recording, reconciling, and maintaining accurate financial transactions.
- Preparing financial statements, supporting working papers, and various regulatory filings.
- Handling the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Managing full-cycle payroll, bank reconciliations, and timely government remittances.
