A growing construction firm is looking for a Project Coordinator Co-op in Halifax to assist project managers and help with construction project delivery. Students will gain hands-on experience, strengthen their communication skills, and build foundational project management knowledge. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, possess strong organizational skills, and are eager to learn in a fast-paced industry. This role offers creative challenges and insights into construction operations. Salary is $23 - $25 per hour.
The project coordinator coop opportunity is for motivated, multi-faceted technically inclined students who enjoy working on a wide variety of tasks, are quick to learn, and keen to make a significant contribution to a successful and growing company.
Our career opportunities offer creative challenges to learn and develop new skills and experiences.
This COOP position provides students a unique opportunity to learn directly from the field while working closely with industry professionals. It allows undergraduates to step into the heart of project operations by seeing firsthand how teams coordinate, how schedules are maintained, how challenges are solved, and how buildings take shape each day. They will be playing an important role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects, at the same time, building valuable technical and professional skills that are difficult to acquire in a classroom, and provided a strong foundation for a future career in construction or project management. It’s an opportunity to make meaningful contributions while gaining practical insight into how complex construction projects come to life.
Salary range for this position is $23 - $25 per hour.
