Director, Applications & Configuration Management

Fully Remote

Overview

Hone is seeking a Director of Application Configuration Management to join our remote-first team. You will train under the VP of Operations and ultimately report to the COO. The role focuses on defining end-to-end configuration capabilities and building processes and infrastructure to support rapid deployment of new configurations as new medications and products are introduced.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Continuously evaluate and refine configuration management processes, seeking opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of configuration management specialists (currently one person), providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Build the knowledge base that outlines Hone’s internal systems configuration capabilities.
  • Build and manage the process that governs implementation of new configurations for newly introduced products/medications.
  • Build and manage a change control process that governs ongoing updates to configurations for current products/medications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration documentation for all applicable systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, product/project management, operations, customer care, and clinical/medical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment related to new or changing system configurations.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage configuration management tools and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) and 8+ years of experience in configuration management or IT operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for leading a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of configuration management principles, processes, tools, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions for configuration-related issues.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology systems and communication tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Compensation: $135,000-$155,000
