About the opportunity
Join our Customer Lifecycle Marketing team and take the lead in developing and executing customer-centric marketing strategies aimed at driving engagement, retention, and satisfaction. The Sr. Customer Marketing Specialist will be a key person for identifying and executing customer engagement strategies as well as tactics for effectively and consistently communicating to the Dayforce customer base and internal stakeholders. This will require the individual to have strong relationship building skills to foster the necessary collaboration with Customer Success, Services, and Sales to achieve overall success and a creative approach to communicating with customers. You will challenge the status quo, inspire your teammates to continuously innovate processes, stay up to date on marketing capabilities, and turn ideas into reality. This role requires an individual with excellent planning and execution skills, and a passion for transforming marketing vision into operational plans that link business objectives to outcomes.
What you’ll get to do
- Support the planning, delivery, and execution of customer marketing programs in partnership with Marketing, Client Success, and Product.
- Develop and execute comprehensive customer marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Create and manage customer segmentation strategies based on personas, behavior, and preferences.
- Oversee the planning and execution of customer events, webinars, and engagement initiatives to foster community and facilitate knowledge sharing among customers.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure effectiveness, track satisfaction metrics, and identify improvement areas.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Willingness to travel.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Skills and experience we value
- A self-starter that can work independently or as part of a matrixed marketing environment.
- University/College degree in Business, or relevant experience.
- 2-4 years in Marketing; ideally Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Demand Generation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, and demonstrable experience synthesizing data and making strategic decisions using Salesforce, PowerBI, intent data, etc.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively share ideas and lead discussions with a wide variety of audiences.

- Strong administrative and project management skills, including the ability to organize, analyze, and report on data with actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning, including deep understanding of customer audiences and marketing principles and strategies.
- Natural storytelling, including ability to create and adapt compelling messaging to marketing deliverables that get prospects and customers to think differently about the challenges they face.
- Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, and Outreach.io would be a bonus.
