Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator to work on underground / water & sewer projects located in Edmonton. We offer competitive wages, work/life balance, great opportunities for advancement, training, and potential for work over the winter.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Installation of underground utilities in close proximity to existing utilities and in existing residential / commercial areas
• Adherence to legislation for excavation and trenching requirements
• Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
• Ensure work is always done safely, to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production
• Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program
• Daily equipment inspections and maintenance
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience
• Experience working in congested areas
• Finish experience is required
• Exceptionally safety conscious
• Able to work independently and follow instructions from the superintendent / foreman
• Ability to operate other equipment is an asset
• Strong communication skills

Required Certifications:

• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Ground Disturbance Level 2
