Job summary
A leading company is seeking an Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer to provide excellent customer service while installing satellite internet systems across Canada. You will be responsible for mounting dishes, connecting equipment, and ensuring optimal signal reception. This role offers competitive pay per installation and the flexibility of working independently.

Independent Contractor - Satellite Installer
Nationwide - Work anywhere in Canada
- Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
- Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
- Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
- Configure and program satellite receivers
- Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything’s working smoothly
- Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
- Educate customers on using their new satellite systems
- Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
- Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
- Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Great communication abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus
