Job summary
A professional geomatics firm in Canada is seeking a Construction Survey Calculator/Drafter to manage drafting of construction surveys and calculations. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Geomatics along with five years of experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial for this remote position. Applicants should be prepared for on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in construction surveys and civil engineering.
- Experience working with both industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction sites.
- Basic understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure system.
Responsibilities
- Drafting of as-built and redline plans for construction surveys.
- Calculations of piles, anchor bolts, foundations.
- Design and quantity calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
