  • Utilize advanced tools (e.g., CadnaA) to develop predictive modeling for noise impact assessment projects.
  • Analyze data from web-based research, aerial imagery, and survey reports to assess project-related noise impacts.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions, including supporting documents for environmental approvals and permitting processes.
  • Assist in developing noise control measures and programs for projects.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for noise impact analysis in environmental assessments across various Canadian and international jurisdictions.

  • Engage in agency consultations and participate in site visits, as well as agency and public meetings, as necessary.
  • Ensure all work aligns with quality, budget, and schedule expectations, adhering to ERM's management system and quality standards.
Requirements

  • Advanced degrees focusing on acoustics or vibration are advantageous.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in a professional services or consulting firm.
  • Good foundation in noise and vibration principles, familiarity with industrial noise control specifications, and noise and vibration measurement techniques.
  • Knowledge of or experience with noise modeling software such as CadnaA, STAMSON, TNM, or other industry-standard tools.

  • Effective written and verbal communication and analytical skills including experience writing technical reports and organize data logically.
  • A collaborative team player, eagerness to learn and grow, self-starter who takes initiative, versatile, and service-oriented mentality.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
